Our 16 Yard Skip Hire Service is designed for large demanding projects that require a substantial and efficient waste solution. Sometimes referred to as a ‘Maxi’ skip it provides an impressive 16 cubic yard capacity for handling significant volumes of waste. We do not recommend this skip size for inert waste such as bricks, rubble, stones, concrete soil or muck. It is ideal for any other non hazardous building or construction waste from a site or general rubbish from a house clearance.

A 16-yard skip is a larger skip hire option and is ideal for major construction projects, extensive commercial use, and situations where a substantial volume of waste needs to be disposed of. It is sometimes also known as a Maxi skip.

How much rubbish can a 16 yard skip hold?

A 16 yard skip can hold up to 16 cubic yards in capacity of waste. It can hold the equivalent of approximately 140-150 bin bags or a Medium Wheel Base (MWB) Ford Transit van. In terms of weight you should not load this skip size with more than 8 tonnes.

Where can you place the skip?

We can deliver the skip to any private property providing there is a clear space for both the skip and the vehicle that is delivering it. There should be a dropped curb for access and no obstacles in the way. You may be required to send an image of where you would like the skip to be placed as well as the access.

Do you offer same day delivery?

Yes, same-day delivery is available, depending on the timing of your booking and our schedule. To increase the likelihood of a same-day delivery, please place your order early in the day or check with us for any cancellations that might free up delivery slots.

Can you deliver and collect on the same day?

If you require same-day delivery and collection we can provide a 30min wait and load service. Additional time in excess of this will incur extra charges. Otherwise you can hire a skip for a longer period to accommodate your waste disposal for project. If you have a very specific need for this service, please contact us directly to discuss your requirements and we will do our best to assist you.

How can I pay for this service?

We accept payment methods such as credit and debit cards and bank transfers. If you prefer to pay via an alternative method or wish to set up an account for regular services, please reach out to our office for further arrangements.
