If you consider the amount waste we produce as a country, and then consider that fact that a significant percentage of all that waste is from construction sites (around 60%), it becomes obvious that having an efficient construction waste process will benefit us all in many ways. Especially when nearly all building waste produced is able to be recycled and turned into aggregates or new building materials.
At Central Junk we deliver a highly efficient nationwide builders waste removal service that caters for all sized projects. Whether you have a small DIY project with awkward access or a large building site and lots of commercial waste, we'll match the right solution to your needs.
As an experienced waste disposal company, we can guide you to the best option that ensures efficiency and cost-effectiveness. For example, if you have a pile of plasterboard and insulation from a renovation, we'd recommend a cage van hire, however if you have a pile of soil or rubble from a landscaping project we'll recommend hiring a skip or using our muck away services. Either way, by partnering with Central Junk for your building waste disposal means you'll have more time for other areas of your project.

Need a construction, renovation or development site cleared before, during or after work? Our site clearance service removes mixed non-hazardous waste including timber, packaging, fixtures, rubble and general building debris. Keeping waste under control can free up working space, reduce obstructions and help your project continue without unnecessary delays. We can arrange a one-off clearance for a smaller project or schedule phased and repeat collections for ongoing works. Depending on the waste, volume and site access, we’ll recommend an appropriate wait-and-load, skip-hire or grab-hire solution.
View Site ClearanceNeed to clear a large amount of waste at your own pace? Our skip hire service provides 4, 6, 8, 12 and 16 yard skips for household, garden and building projects, with a standard hire period of up to two weeks. Choose a delivered skip when you need time to load, or a wait-and-load collection where space or permits make leaving a skip impractical. We’ll help match the container and collection arrangement to the waste type, volume and site access.

Building, renovation and demolition projects can produce very different types and volumes of waste. We’ll assess the materials involved, how much needs removing and the access available before recommending an appropriate collection method. Whether the job requires wait and load, skip hire, grab hire or a clearance crew, we’ll help arrange the collection, transfer and processing of your builder’s waste.

We’ll start by assessing the types and approximate volume of waste produced by your project. Photographs or videos are usually sufficient, although an on-site assessment may be appropriate for larger or more complicated jobs. We’ll also consider the weight of the materials, access, parking, loading restrictions and whether collections need to be phased around ongoing work. Based on those details, we’ll recommend a suitable wait-and-load, skip or grab-hire arrangement. Any restricted or potentially hazardous materials must be identified before booking so the correct collection requirements can be confirmed.

The collection process will depend on the chosen service. If a wait-and-load service is not suitable, our clearance crews can complete the lifting and loading for you, while skips provide a container that can be filled during the project and collected when ready. Grab hire may be more appropriate for larger volumes of loose, heavy materials where suitable access is available. Once collected, the waste is transported securely to an appropriate authorised facility. We can also arrange staged or repeat collections for ongoing projects, and a Waste Transfer Note is provided for each completed waste transfer.

At the receiving facility, the collected waste is assessed and directed through an appropriate recycling, recovery or disposal route. Where practical, materials such as metal, timber, rubble, soil and packaging are kept separate or sorted for suitable processing. Recoverable materials may be recycled or used to produce secondary materials where the available facilities and condition of the waste allow, although this cannot always be guaranteed. Any remaining non-recoverable waste is processed and disposed of through an authorised waste facility.
Central Junk provides builder's waste disposal for households, businesses and managed properties from our London base. Collections can be arranged at short notice or booked for a planned date, subject to availability and the requirements of the job. Tell us what needs removing, where it is located and about any access restrictions, and our team will confirm the most suitable licensed collection and disposal option for your address.
