Every business produces different types and volumes of waste, so the right collection arrangement will depend on how your organisation operates. We can provide one-off clearances for accumulated waste or arrange regular collections to help keep ongoing waste under control. From the initial assessment through to collection, transfer and disposal, we’ll tailor the service around your waste streams, premises and collection requirements.
We’ll begin by discussing the waste your business produces, the approximate volume requiring collection and whether you need a one-off clearance or a recurring service. We’ll also consider the layout of your premises, access and parking, preferred collection times, and any materials that need to be kept separate. Based on those requirements, we’ll recommend a suitable collection arrangement. On the scheduled day, our team will remove and load the agreed general waste, packaging, recyclable materials, furniture or other accepted commercial items.
Once collected, the waste is loaded securely for transport. Where practical, separate waste streams such as cardboard, pallets, electrical equipment and general commercial rubbish are kept apart so they can be sent through the appropriate processing route. Our licensed waste carriers then transport everything to suitable authorised facilities, removing the need for your staff to handle the lifting or onward transportation. A Waste Transfer Note is provided for the collection, giving your business a record of the waste transfer.
At the receiving facility, the collected material is assessed and directed through the appropriate reuse, recycling or disposal process. Recyclable waste such as cardboard and suitable packaging is processed separately, while electrical and electronic equipment is handled through an appropriate WEEE route. Items may be prioritised for reuse where their condition and available facilities allow, but this cannot always be guaranteed. Any remaining waste is processed and disposed of through an authorised facility.
